I believe that:

- Students are not defined by their grades and/or test scores.
- Standardized tests are only one of many measures of performance.
- The process is more important than the product.
- Technology, when used responsibly, can improve our lives.
- It is important to unplug every once in a while.
- The best education is travel.
- If you have a pen, you’re a writer.
- It is my job to teach students HOW to think, not WHAT to think.
- Questions are more important than answers.
- It is more important to do the right thing than to be right.
- Reflection is the gateway to learning.
- FAIL = First Attempt In Learning.
