Hello! Thank you for stopping by my page! This site is a place where you can learn about me and see who I am as a teacher and person. I blog about my travels here, and I also use this space to showcase some of the things I’m most proud of as a teacher and tech integrationist.
I was an IB English teacher for most of my career, and then I was a Technology Instructional Coach for a hot second, and now I am a high school Assistant Principal in Costa Rica. I’m also enrolled in a Master of Arts in Translation program at Kent State University. I am excited to combine my loves for education and translation one day.
I have lived in New Jersey for most of my life, but I travel as much as I can. I have been to a variety of places, such as Australia, New Zealand, Costa Rica, Ecuador, the Galápagos Islands, and many countries in Europe. I earned my certificate in Global Educational Leadership in Mallorca, Spain, through The College of New Jersey (TCNJ). That was the impetus for my international job search, and I couldn’t be happier about living abroad.
My professional interests include educational technology and professional development, but it’s easy to get me talking about anything related to education all day long. However, I keep balance in my life by pursuing interests like reading, painting, cooking, running, and spending time with friends and family. I strive to live my life by my favorite Kurt Vonnegut quotation, which is: “I urge you to please notice when you are happy, and exclaim or murmur or think at some point, ‘If this isn’t nice, I don’t know what is.'”
I hope you enjoy my little corner of the web. Thanks again for visiting!
