Hola! It’s definitely been a while! I keep doing things and saying, “Imma blog about this,” but then I don’t blog. That’s a good thing, trust me. The less I blog, the more adjusted I feel!
However, I still wanted to share a bit about what I’ve been up to, for those of you who are interested! So, here’s a quick photo post for ya!
I’ve been making my place feel more like home.
I am obsessed with my new curtains!
I love that I finally was able to hang up my kitchen printables from my old apartment!
The wall of travel makes a Costa Rican combeback! Nothing makes me happier than this.
I’ve been catching some great fútbol games
Here I am being a dork as I got ready for the Costa Rica vs. Jamaica game!
Estadio Nacional – what a beautiful venue!
Sooooo many Saprissa fans at the last sold-out game against La Ligua! (We lost.)
I’ve been experiencing the beauty of Guanacaste
Obligatory car selfie
Costa Rica pride!
Sunset selfie (check out Amanda’s snazzy heart-shaped shades!)
Yay for some girl time!
Sunsets are the best time for photo shoots!
Can’t finish a girls’ weekend without a group shot!
And the beauty of Río Celeste
Yet again, gotta take a car selfie!
The open road!
All ready for a day of nature!
GORGEOUS
We got so lucky it didn’t rain! The water is only that blue in sunlight (#physics)
Great view from the hike!
Still can’t get over that blue agua!
The bridges were fun, too!
Massive volcanoes; crazy dirt road
Day 2 of road trip included swimming in that waterfall!
I got new desks in my classroom
And they’re dry erase!!
Working on Macbeth stop-motion videos!
The rainy season started 😢
Which means the water is coming back into my apartment. 😦
I said good-bye to my seniors because IB exams started!
I cannot believe my first year here is coming to a close!
Well, that’s pretty much it! Of course there’s lots of other day-to-day stuff that you would be bored reading about! My Spanish is coming along, and my regular trips to the chiropractor are really helping me know my way around the city! I also realized the other day that when an Uber driver asks me how long I’ve been here, I can pretty much just round up to a year. Now that’s crazy!
Thanks for checking out my pics, and pura vida, mae!
Did you walk across those bridges?
Yes!!
